The Parc Hotel, New York

The hotel was comfortable and had everything I needed, but the smell in the rooms wasn't as good as in the front reception. The furniture made the room feel a bit tight, lacking a proper table or desk for convenience, yet it provided a cozy stay without much to complain about.

The hotel is quite new, which is a plus. The rooms were clean and well maintained, but nothing extraordinary. My only gripes were the lack of stocked coffee bar, missing ice bucket, limited towels, and no washcloths.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks. The location is great for those interested in Chinese cuisine and sports events, but the room had issues like a lingering smoke smell and no working air conditioner. The staff was friendly and helpful, although a bit slow at times. The shortcomings in the dining options were disappointing, but the surrounding area offers plenty of food choices.

The hotel is perfectly situated in Chinatown, close to the subway and right across the street from a Target. The rooms are a bit on the small side, and we had the unfortunate experience of a smoking room nearby affecting our non-smoking room. The service was top-notch, with staff very accommodating, especially housekeeping. The dining options lacked variety and continental selections, but there were globally inspired dishes available. The location offers unique views of planes landing at LaGuardia, although not ideal for walking around much. Overall, a good value for the price.
